Trying to print my ical in day view with the day of the week showing in front of the date

I'm trying to print a day view of my ical with the day of the week showing (ex: Friday, Sept 23 instead of just September, 23). This works when I print from one machine to a printer, but does not work when I print from another machine to the same printer. The correct format comes from a machine using El Capitan OS. The computer with the missing day before has Yosemite.
